PARISH ASSEMBLY

In preparation for the bishop’s Official Parish Visitation which is scheduled for the weekend of April 24^th & 25^th, 2010, St. Joseph Church will host a Parish Assembly. The Assembly will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5^th, 2009 and conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m. We invite and strongly urge members of our parish from ages 17 and up to attend. During this assembly we will be discussing different areas of parish life: Word, Worship, Service, Community, Stewardship, Leadership and Evangelization. We need to hear from YOU, the parishioners, so in setting the parish goals for the next five years we can best serve you and the entire St. Joseph Parish. The information that is derived at this assembly will be presented to the Pastoral Council who in turn will prepare the goals and objectives. These goals and objectives along with other parish information will be presented to Bishop Jacobs at a formal meeting on April 24^th, 2010. The goals set from this assembly will help keep St. Joseph alive and vibrant. It is very important that all age groups be represented and your voices be heard.
